Pastor Trent Woods,Sr.
Reverend Trent Woods, Sr., is the Senior Pastor and Founder of Life Community Baptist Church in Rosenberg, TX. Under his visionary leadership, Life Community held its inaugural worship service in March 2001 in a small school gymnasium in Alief, TX. Pastor Woods began the church firmly believing that a “life changing church is a disciple making church.” Since the beginning, Pastor Woods has been focused on making disciples and ministering holistically to families. His persistence has transformed a few faithful families into a mighty army that is C.O.N.T.A.G.I.O.U.S. and on the move for Christ. Because of the church’s growth, Pastor Woods is leading the church through a building campaign that is almost completed. This will enable the Life Church to build its first worship facility, expand its ministry work, and make a greater impact in the community.
A native of Richmond, Texas, Pastor Woods has always had a heart for the community and a calling to share God’s Word with others. He answered the call to preach when he was only nineteen years old and began preaching at Pilgrim Journey Baptist Church. Since then, Pastor Woods has worked in many ministry areas of the church, including serving as Children’s Church teacher, Assistant Coordinator of Ministry, Apartment Ministry Outreach, Young Adult Teacher, and Youth Pastor. He graduated from the College of Biblical Studies - Houston, earning an Associate in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Leadership.
